Points are earned by winning a match against the computer. The harder the level, the more your win is worth:
The points go to the country you play with, and to you in the weekly players ranking. A lost match or a draw gives no points, but it costs nothing either. The 2 players mode is just for fun: it does not count for the ranking, because both players share the same screen.
After each match, the game shows the points you just won (for example “+3 for Turkey!”), the top 5 countries with yours highlighted, and your place in this week's players ranking.
The countries ranking never resets. It adds up every point won by every player since the ranking started. If your country is low on the list, it needs you: pick it on the home screen, choose the hard level and win as many matches as you can.
The players ranking shows the 50 best players of the current week. It starts again from zero every Monday at 0:00, Paris time. The number one of the previous week becomes the 👑 Champion of the week and is shown at the top of this page for the whole next week.
The first time you win, the game asks for a name for the ranking. It must be 2 to 16 letters or numbers, with no spaces. There is no account and no email: your name and your country are the only things shown. Names with bad words are refused, because many young people play Country Clash. The game remembers your name in your browser; if you clear your browser data, you will start again with a new name.
To keep the ranking fair, the server checks every win before it counts:
